Review From GoogleReal Estate Lawyer
A knowledgeable real estate lawyer can serve in many roles regarding the transfer of real property from seller to buyer. Real property is a broad term—often interchangeable with real estate—that refers to land and permanent structures or dwellings.
For the everyday homebuyer, a real estate lawyer will assist you with preparing and executing the paperwork required to legally purchase a property. Documentation that a real estate lawyer will typically assist with includes contracts, agreements, lender documents, and title and transfer documentation. Generally, they will be responsible for reviewing the documentation before you sign it to ensure it is complete and accurate, they may be there for the signing, and often are the ones responsible for filing the paperwork according to local laws, to ensure a smooth and legal transfer of ownership.
Some real estate attorneys also deal with title searches and title insurance. When purchasing a property, it is important to know that the property will be clear for purchase, with no existing liens or other outstanding claims against it. Most lenders will require a title search and/or title insurance policy as a stipulation for being approved for a mortgage.
At Ruelas Law Firm, we prepare and assist with the execution of required documentation related to the sale of real property. We also assist with real property disputes.
A real property dispute can involve all types of real estate and include property line disagreements, blocked views, rightful ownership, property damage, and zoning issues. These disputes may be between two or more parties, including homeowners, neighbors, family members, homeowners’ associations, or local agencies.

Civil Litigation Attorney
As is the nature of any area of law, sometimes matters cannot be settled outside the courtroom. An experienced civil litigation attorney can argue for your best interests when a civil dispute arises, and you’re headed to court.
Civil litigation can encompass many areas of law, including Family, Elder, Real Estate, and Estate Planning. When one party has a legal disagreement with another party, that is not criminal in nature, a civil litigator can bring a case against the other party or serve as legal counsel for the accused party.
A civil litigation attorney serves many roles:
Investigator. Digging into your case to uncover evidence to support your assertions or defend against claims made by the opposing party.
Researcher. Studying pertinent laws and statutes to support your case.
Advisor. Providing expert legal advice and actionable next steps specific to your case.
Strategist. Analyzing the evidence of the case, to develop a legal strategy for obtaining the most favorable outcome.
Negotiator. When appropriate, negotiating a settlement outside of the courtroom.
Litigator. Arguing for and protecting your rights in court.
Not every civil dispute must head to trial. A qualified civil law attorney will look at the big picture and provide legal advice specific to your case. In some cases, legal disagreements can be handled through negotiation, long before trial. Others may be best settled in front of a judge. Every case is unique and must be handled with a personalized approach that meets the situation.
At Ruelas Law Firm, our civil litigation attorney can represent you in areas of family, elder, estate planning, and real estate law, serving as your…
- estate dispute attorney
- elder law advocacy attorney
- will contest lawyer
- real estate litigator
